Acceptance
By creating a Tellzm account, connecting an AI assistant, or using any part of the service, you agree to these Terms. If you're using Tellzm on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization and “you” means both you and the organization.
If you don't agree to any part of these Terms, don't use Tellzm. It's that simple.
Who we are
Tellzm is a multi-dimensional project management platform operated at tellzm.com. Contact us at hello@tellzm.com for any questions about these Terms or the service.
Your account
You need an account to use Tellzm. You're responsible for everything that happens under your account, including any AI-assistant connections you authorize. Keep your credentials private; if you think your account has been accessed without your permission, tell us right away.
You must be at least 16 years old to create a personal account, and 18 or older to agree on behalf of an organization. We don't knowingly serve anyone younger.
Acceptable use
Don't use Tellzm to:
- violate any law, or help anyone else violate a law, in any jurisdiction that applies to you or to us
- store, transmit, or process malware, viruses, or anything designed to compromise other systems
- abuse, harass, threaten, defame, or harm another person, or collect their information without consent
- infringe anyone's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights
- bypass or interfere with the security features of the service — including rate limits, authentication, or workspace boundaries
- use automated means to scrape, clone, or reverse-engineer the service beyond what the public API and MCP interface explicitly permit
- resell, sublicense, or provide Tellzm as a paid service to third parties without a written agreement from us
We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with or without notice depending on severity.
Your content
You own your content. Every task, project, record, comment, and file you create or upload belongs to you. Tellzm does not claim any ownership over it.
To operate the service — store it in our database, back it up, show it to people you've invited, sync it with integrations you authorize, and so on — you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, copy, store, transmit, display, and modify your content strictly as needed to provide Tellzm to you. This license ends when you delete the content or close your account, subject to the retention window below.
We will never sell your content, use it to train public machine learning models, or share it with third parties except as described in our Privacy Policy.
AI assistant connections
Tellzm supports connections from AI assistants — Claude, ChatGPT, and others that speak the Model Context Protocol (MCP) — through a scoped OAuth flow. When you grant an assistant access, here's what that means:
- The connection is bound to one workspace you own or are a member of. The assistant cannot see or touch other workspaces you belong to.
- You explicitly choose the permissions the assistant receives (read projects, write tasks, and so on) during the consent screen. You can revoke these at any time from your workspace settings.
- Every tool call the assistant makes is audit-logged with the timestamp, tool name, and scrubbed parameters. You can review these from your workspace admin panel.
- If you downgrade your plan after granting write permissions, those permissions may be retroactively restricted to match the new plan's limits.
You are responsible for instructions you give an assistant. If Claude deletes your tasks because you told it to, that's on you. We log the audit trail so you can tell what happened, but we don't second-guess your intent.
Third-party integrations
Tellzm integrates with third-party services at your direction — Google Sheets for data sync, Slack for notifications, and others. When you connect one:
- You authorize Tellzm to exchange data with that service strictly according to the scope you granted
- The third party has its own terms and privacy policy which govern what it does with the data once it leaves Tellzm
- We're not responsible for the availability or behavior of third-party services; if Google Sheets returns an error, we surface it but we can't make it go away
You can disconnect any integration at any time. Disconnection revokes our access token and stops future syncs, but it doesn't retroactively remove data that was already exchanged.
Subscriptions & billing
Tellzm offers a free tier and paid plans. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually via Stripe. Your plan determines limits like workspace size, number of projects, AI-assistant connections, and so on.
If you upgrade mid-cycle, you pay a prorated amount. If you downgrade, the change takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle and limits may tighten immediately. If you cancel, your workspace becomes read-only at the end of the cycle you paid for; you won't be charged again.
Refunds are handled case-by-case. Contact us at hello@tellzm.com within 14 days of a charge you dispute. Taxes (VAT, sales tax) are added where applicable.
Termination
You can close your account at any time from settings. We can suspend or close accounts that materially violate these Terms, that fail to pay for a paid subscription, or that we reasonably believe expose other users or the service to harm.
On termination, we retain your data for up to 30 days in a soft-deleted state during which you can ask us to restore it. After 30 days we permanently delete it from production systems. Some backups may linger for up to 90 days more before they rotate out.
Disclaimers
Tellzm is provided “as is”. We work hard to keep the service reliable, but we make no warranty that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose. You use it at your own risk, and you're responsible for keeping your own backups of anything critical.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tellzm is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of profit, revenue, data, or goodwill — arising from your use of the service, even if we've been advised that such damages could occur.
Our total liability for any claim arising under these Terms is limited to the greater of: (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or (b) US $50.
Some jurisdictions don't allow these limits. If you live in one, the paragraphs above apply to the maximum extent permitted there.
Indemnification
You agree to defend and indemnify Tellzm and our team against any claim arising from (a) your use of the service, (b) your violation of these Terms, or (c) your content infringing on someone else's rights. We'll let you know promptly if such a claim comes in and cooperate with your defense, which you pay for.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we update the “last updated” date at the top of this page and, for material changes, post a notice in your workspace or send an email. Continued use of Tellzm after a change means you accept the new version.
If you don't accept a change, your remedy is to stop using Tellzm and close your account before the change takes effect.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Tellzm is incorporated, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of these Terms will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, unless a mandatory consumer protection law in your country says otherwise.
